Annual Matewan Massacre Re-enactment

The annual Matewan Massacre Re-enactment will be held in downtown Matewan in front of the UMWA Hall.

Hatfield McCoy Reunion Festival
Date:  June 12, 2010
Begins at 8:00 am
Held every year, the HM Reunion Festival features live music, street vendors, "shotgun wedding", ATV poker run, a parade, marathon, and many other events.


Town Homecoming
Date: September 11, 2010
Begins at 8:00 am
Annual town homecoming featuring live music, street vendors, and lots of fun!
A full day of events is planned so be sure to mark your calenders!

Veteran's Day Parade
Date: November 11, 2010
Begins at 12:30 pm
This will be the 9th year for our Veteran's Day Parade.


Christmas in Matewan
Date:  December 10, 2010
Begins at 5:00 PM
Santa will be making his grand appearance in the parade. We will also have free hot chocolate and Christmas caroling.
