Annual Matewan Massacre Re-enactment
Dates: May 14th and June 11th, 2011
11:00 am and 3:00 pm
The annual Matewan Massacre Re-enactment will be held in downtown Matewan in front of the UMWA Hall.


62nd Annual Magnolia Fair
Date: August 15-20, 2011
Location: New Magnolia Park
Gates open at 6 pm nightly


Hatfield McCoy Reunion Festival
Date:  June 10 and 11, 2011
Begins at 8:00 am
Held every year, the HM Reunion Festival features live music, street vendors, "shotgun wedding", ATV poker run, a parade, marathon, and many other events.

Veteran's Day Parade

This will be the 9th year for our Veteran's Day Parade.


Christmas in Matewan
Date:  December 3, 2010
Begins at 5:00 PM
Santa will be making his grand appearance in the parade. We will also have free hot chocolate and Christmas caroling.
