| Matewan Massacre Re-enactment Dates: May 14th and June 11th, 2011 11:00 am and 3:00 pm The annual Matewan Massacre Re-enactment is an enormously popular event. Very talented members of the local community get together to re-enact the battle that took place in the streets of Matewan.
